Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions will be used in connection with federal elections and are subject to the limitations and prohibitions of federal law. The maximum an individual may contribute is $2,700 per election. For contributions made prior to the 2016 primary election, the maximum amount an individual may contribute is $5,400 and the first $2,700 will be designated for the 2016 primary election and the next $2,700 will be designated for the 2016 general election. Contributions from corporations, labor unions, federal government contractors, national banks, and foreign nationals without permanent residency status are prohibited. Federal law requires us to use best efforts to obtain and report the name, address, occupation, and employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle.
